Play Groups
Playgroups are held weekly during the term in Whakatane and Opotiki.
Visiting Teachers attend to support Educarers with information and resources and help supervise children.
During playgroups Visiting Teachers observe children’s interests for future playgroup planning. The playgroup plan determines activities and equipment provided for the children.
Playgroups are a place where the Educarers network and support each other and where the children socialise and play in a supervised, safe environment.
